Orizzont Building

In this film, we are introduced to the ‘Orizzont’ building with the project by architect Ricardo Vieira de Melo.
Through the "Lightness" of a black scarf, we are brought to know the project that is formalized with a volumetric overlay of solids supported in a structure that is open almost to the entire ground floor - this one that acts as a space of intermediation between the street, the public space, and the apartments. The scarf goes on with its journey, and the viewer discovers some 12 apartments that make up the building. Along this route, the interiors are known, both discrete and sculptural. The sobriety of the chosen materials and finishes reinforces the fluidity of the spaces, which inevitably ends up focusing on the open horizon.
The film ends with images of the sunset, which are reflected in the building's facade.
